Ita Delogu MIACP-Counselling & Psychotherapy
I am a qualified professional and a fully accredited member of the Irish Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP). I strictly observe professional boundaries by adhering to the IACP Code of Ethics, supervisory guidelines and Continuous Professional Development (CPD).
I hold a BA (Hons) degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy and have been seeing clients since 2009. In my lifetime I have completed more than 100 hours of personal therapy so I know what it is like to be sitting in either chair. I am very down to earth and take a practical, common sense approach to my work.
I draw on my academic knowledge, work experience and life experience to objectively explore presenting issues within the therapeutic relationship. My practices, in Dublin 1 and Dublin 14, provide a platform where unique lives can be revealed, acknowledged, reflected upon, explored and understood in order to find solutions that my clients feel and know to be their own sense of truth.
I am always struck by what a privilege it is for me to be trusted with such honesty and emotional depth. Thanks to all those who have so far shared their lives with me.
